Lil Eddie – Postcard

Comment: A pretty tight track from Lil Eddie. In my opinion, the best out of the three tracks for this post. Not sure what the instrument is in this but it sure drives the song. Lovin’ it!

Another fresh one from RL.

Many underground artists tend to release a lot of tracks then fizzle out. I am pretty sure RL is not quitting till he makes his second go around a strong one.

Rumours have it that Next is getting back together and judging from Next’s MySpace they’ll release their album then RL will follow with his second solo effort.

I personally think there is nothing special to RL. He sounds like every other singer out there. However, he probably has a lot of connections to have another chance for his second album, Important. Yes, that is actually the title.

This track is a slow rnb track. Very light on the instruments relying more on the vocals. A lot of sexy time talk and I think the song works well.

A fresh track from the man RL. You might know him from the popular R&B group Next.

Well, it’s been awhile and apparently each member is coming out with solo efforts. The group hasn’t disbanded but they are trying to do their own thing for now.

Breathe Without You has an old school classy vibe to it. Very basic with the piano rift and strings over a slow beat. I think it is okay but wanted ya’ll to check it out.
